In Spanish people, animal and also things have gender. People and animals have dual genders, however, things in Spanish will have set genders, for example, the book (el libro) in Spanish is masculine and the table (la mesa) in Spanish is feminine. How do we know if a thing is feminine or masculine in Spanish? We can follow a set of rules that can help us determine if something is 'masculino' or 'femenino'. Today we're going to learn how to determine if things are masculine or feminine in Spanish and then we'll practice what we've learned.
